ABOUT US

Simple, reliable financial support for sole traders, start-ups, and growing businesses.

Rames Consultancy has always carried personal meaning for me. The name comes from my children, Rachel and James. What began as a simple way to manage dividends through my limited company gradually grew as friends, family and their referrals started asking for help with bookkeeping, accounts, tax returns and general financial matters. Something informal naturally became a service people trusted.

I have worked in finance for more than 30 years, including roles as a finance manager, and I am a qualified member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and the International Association of Accountants and Bookkeepers. Over the years I have handled almost every situation a small business can face, and I always explain things clearly so clients feel confident and informed.

Rames Consultancy is now entering its next chapter. My son is completing his final AAT exam, which will qualify him as an accounts technician, and he already works confidently with systems such as QuickBooks and Xero. The plan is for him to join the business so we can grow it together as a family run practice that blends my experience with his modern skills, giving small businesses reliable, personal and long term support.
